What is Deep Forest?

Deep Forest is the first album created by Eric Mouquet and Michel Sanchez, two French musicians who blended traditional ethnic music with synthesizers, featuring vocals from cultures that live in the rainforest.

While the more recent albums feature collaborations and vocals from international artists such as Peter Gabriel and Beverly Jo Scott, the original Deep Forest album is purely ethnic rhythms blended with modern synth.
